The Pueblo Convention Center drives activity in downtown Pueblo. It plays no small part in improved retail sales and restaurant business, as well as increased bookings at local hotels. Several factors have coalesced, driving the need to expand the Convention Center: lack of space, increased demand, and the expansion of the Historic Arkansas Riverwalk. There is more demand for Convention Center services than there is supply to meet it.
